Kels started out patrolling left center field...all was going well...very well...
Kelsie led off the 2nd inning with a hit to right center...
Safely on at first....
Stole 2nd...wow, what a speed demon :)
After stealing 3rd...wow, what a speed demon :) she stole home! This isn't a good pic, but she's being welcomed back into the dugout after scoring...
THEN....the RAIN CAME! :( It down poured for about 2 minutes, but it was enough to end the game before Kelsie went to the mound to pitch. The game ended in a tie, after 3 innings. There was talk about rescheduling in 2 weeks, but we will have to wait and see. All in all, though, I think she had a good time; got a good hit, stole 3 bases, scored a run and had a nice throw to 2nd from center field to prevent a run from scoring...
And this....is what 2 drowned softball players look like! Kelsie says thanks to everyone for wishing her well in her game -- and for coming back to see how she did :) THANKS!

Great game Kelsie! The NYY's are in desperate need of a player with your ability. Cam, which is better the food stand or the game? Wish we could've been there. Love to all!!

ahhh tht was like the most amazing game ever me nd sam had a great time playing in the rain ahh wow shes great. getting soaked was really funn but...make sure u dont put your uniform in your bag and leave it there for a week and try to put it on for a tornament . yaa not a good idea!! thts for sure but after the first game thankfuly mom went home to wash it...it smelled much better after a couple times in the washer!!!!
