The Count was 3-2, Bases Loaded, 1 Out

After having 16 pitches thrown to him...Cameron singled into center field last night! 16 pitches!!! A new pitcher had entered the game and Cam fouled off 11 pitches before sending the ball into center field for a single and an RBI. His team won 7-3 last night. In the first inning, he also caught a hard line drive hit to his left (he was playing 2nd base), threw to 1st to double the runner off there. And that's a winner! (Cards beat the Cubs last night too, in case you didn't know!)

Yes, we knew about the Cardinals, but much more exciting is hearing about Cam's game. So great. We will be so anxious to see him play.

Good eye, Cameron. The NYY could use you, their hitting is anemic.
Love to all, Grandma H.
