Riding Western

These are from last weekend's show; Kelsie and I got to go and it was a lot of fun, despite the cold temperatures. She had an English show on Saturday and 2 western shows on Sunday. She placed in all of them and they were much bigger show groups than normal. She got to wear her new western show shirt that she got for Christmas.

Thanks for the updates loved them. Kelsie looks great. So do they transport those horses for you I'm guessing.

Thanks ;-) Yes, each school brings their horses. This time, though, we had gotten that dusting of snow and some ice, so Kelsie's school (barn) did not bring our horses. What they do before the shows start is have a draw for each rider to see what horse each person will ride; so it's rare that the riders ever ride a horse that comes from their barn.

PS: Kelsie had 3 different horses that weekend to ride and all 3 were acting up. Kelsie's barn woman (coach, lesson giver - I have all sorts of non-technical names for her) said that she didn't do very well in the horse draws, but she still managed to place so that was good for her. It was so cold though, I don't know how those horses stood it.
