Ok, so call me naive...I took the kids and a couple of friends around to a few houses before leaving for 'Trunk Treats' up at Church. Before we left for Church, I put a bowl with candy in it out on the porch -- with a note. I heard rumors that some kids were taking more than 1 or 2 pieces :( If you were at our house and the bowl was empty, let me know and there will be a special treat for you :)
Here's the crew...minus our friend Meredith who also joined us for a few houses.
Hippie hair, complete with a pick. $14.99 well spent!
Our normal Cardinal Trunk up at Church -- we had quite a few posters left from last year, which again were a big hit. I need to check and see if I can lay my hands on some more b4 next Halloween. My friend Ruth did a great job organizing this event again this year. Over 350 kids came this year, it was amazing and great to see all of the neighborhood kids!
Friday night brought the end of the Fall Ball season. Cam's team played their last double header...BURRRR! Although it could have been colder, the wind cooperated thankfully, so it wasn't horrible. We came prepared with long underwear! Cam said it was horrible for him, though. His hands were pretty darn cold. They won 1 of the games, lost 1. Cameron pitched in both games and really did well. Until Spring Training...
Kelsie made the playoffs in her golf league! Woo hoo! She and Kenny headed out for the match Saturday morning. Cam & I went out to meet them at the last hole and were able to get this picture. Now, Kelsie was not a happy camper about her match -- but we tried to explain it's a tough game and you have to practice, practice, practice. After golf, we raced off to volleyball. I had my camera, but the games were so intense, I forgot to take any pictures! Kelsie's team won 2 of the games and lost 1, they really did great. 2 more weekends of volleyball for Kelsie's team.

Sounds like you all had a lot of weekend fun and just a little stress (deciding on costumes). Cam I love the hair.
Glad ballgames and volleyball games went well with some wins.
Kelsie, don't stress about golf that doesn't go as well as you'd like. Papa still has those times. Just have fun.

Sounds and looks like you all had a fun and busy week. Love the costumes! Kelsie, Grandpa has many frustrating days, threatens to quit and then goes back out again to give golf another try. Grandma .
What is "Trunk Treats"?
We had problems with people taking too many pieces of candy from the bowl, too... I suggested a surveillance camera to Mom but unfortunately we don't have one.

Hey Lauren! Maybe you can ask for one of those cameras for Christmas? Might get you some extra candy left next year?!?! Trunk treats is when people decorate their car trunks and the kids "trick or treat" at each trunk. We had about 20 trunks in our church parking lot.
